David vs Goliath starts Wednesday, September 26th 2018 on CBS for the launch of the new season. We should expect to see a thirteen-week run as is typical which takes us out to December 2018 for the season finale. Now, Cassidy has to choose who she wants to sit next to her in the final, and which two players she wants to make fire to earn the final spot. She knows Jesse is the biggest threat, and wants to put him in the fire-making challenge against whoever has the best chance at beating him. Meanwhile, Owen and Gabler both WANT to go up against Jesse so they can hopefully beat him and earn more points their his own resumes. Owen and Cassidy debate whether they should try and take Karla or Jesse out.

The next day, the final four compete in their final immunity challenge. They have to use a long fork to navigate bowls through a difficult maze and stack them on top of another. Cassidy wins, making it her third individual immunity win. It didn't take long for the game to kick into gear on Survivor 43. With everyone on small tribes, duos and trios began to solidify.
Vince ended up being the one voted out—and yes, he did have an idol in his pocket. Things changed at Tribal Council, however, when Dean spilled the details of the plot to Tommy. Tommy then tried to get everyone to vote Noura out, but it turned out to be a ruse as he, Lauren, Dean, Elaine, and Noura all stuck to their original plan to vote out Karishma. At the tribal this week, Jeremy called out Natalie as the outsider of the tribe, remarking that her personality is difficult to deal with. Natalie kept it cool while offering her own jabs right back at him. The rest of the tribe also discussed Natalie’s failure to make a good first impression.

Until he had everyone's beads, he would not be able to vote. Thanks to the support of his allies Jesse and Nneka, as well as a fashion-based excuse, he got all the beads he needed, keeping his vote and giving him an idol. But Jesse turned the tides yet again, fearing Sami would be a threat in the firemaking challenge. And the nail in his coffin came with the Shot in the Dark, which he openly declared he'd be using at Tribal Council. So when it failed, that led to an open-and-shut unanimous vote.

However, once they got to Tribal Council, Ronnie annoyed everyone with his selfish monologue and otherwise untrustworthiness. While two votes ended up going towards Vince, poker player Ronnie ended up being the first castaway voted off of the island when seven of his tribe mates voted him out. Even after a tribe swap, the Lairo tribe continued with its losing streak. It seemed like Karishma was going to be voted out, as she was the slowest during both the immunity and the reward challenges, but her willingness to flip on her old tribe kept her safe.
Jesse played Cody's idol that was in his possession on Owen, though there was some anxiety over whether Cody would give it back after showing it to Karla. Rendered paranoid after Jesse deviated from the supposed plan, Karla decided to play her idol. Both of them were not needed, as it was a vote against Cody. But the sole idol remaining is now Jesse's, which nobody knows he took from Dwight before he was voted out.

At the immunity/reward challenge, the players have to complete various different obstacles, collect puzzle pieces and then solve a word puzzle. Karla’s advantage allows her to collect less puzzle pieces, placing a third of them at the finish platform already. In the end, though, it’s Owen who solves the puzzle fastest and wins immunity. In addition to being safe at tribal, Owen also gets a protein packed meal for his reward to help him carry through the final days, and he chooses Cassidy to enjoy it with him.
